So I paid a little visit to my gurl Lucy Radwell to catch up and plan in some shoot dates for the new year.
With the weather being very temperamental this winter, I bravely headed out without a coat. Combining my New Look jumper with multiple layers, cosy Stradivarius Leggings and comfy trainers we headed to The Breakfast Club in Hoxton.
Obviously, our catch up was partnered with pancakes, coffee and constant picture taking and it was amazinggg...
Check out what I wore below, Links at the bottom...

Finallyyyyy !
I've managed to get my hands on the amazing Soft Matte Lip Vault from NYX cosmetics.
After many months of lusting over these lipsticks, and begging my boyfriend to get me the vault shipped over from America, I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon the amazingness when shopping in Selfridges...
I had seen the vault many times on Instagram, but as it was only advertised on the American NYX Instagram, so I gave up all hopes of finding one in the UK.
But Voila!
So, for all you girls out there, who can't quite decide if the £85 is worth it... (There is a £65 smaller pack available) Here is my review.... Enjoy!
Packaging
Good, simplistic packaging, runs in line with everything else NYX produce, nice easy access to view all the colours.
Colours & Selection
Below are the range of colours available, by row on skins swatches
There's a good variety of colours, I would say there's more pinks than nudes and reds, which I think most people would use the nudes more for day to day, but still all amazing colours, with a couple of funky purples and blues as well.

Row 2
Row 3
Texture, Pigment & Product Quality
The smell is amazinggggg - they smell like candy
They weren't as thick as I was expecting them all to be, however, I know if they're really thick they're a pain to keep on all day.
I tried one of the nude/browns on and was really pleased with the texture, it didn't last really long, but I think if you set it with a Lipcote it would last all day - I have worn mine to work before and they've lasted all day.
I'm pleased with the pigments, they should only take one layer when applying to get the desired look - maybe two layers with the blue!
Size
Finally, what everyone wonders, is the size the same?
No, I'm afraid not, the pots vary about 1cm in size difference
Considering they're £5.99 each to buy normal size they're over half price in the pack - winner!
Overall I'm really pleased with my Lip Vault, the product quality is fab, as most NYX products are, the pigments great and so is the smell!
The only thing I would say I was disappointed in was the variety of colour, ideally, I would want more nudes and reds, as I would prefer those over pink.
I would give it a 9 out of 10!

Soooo... this is another 'Hangouts and Hangovers' blog post, however, there's no hangover with this one...
I was a sophisticated lady and didn't get so horribly drunk that I vommed on the train home... That's a story for another time..
So without the hangover, I've got some more hangout inspo for all you girls out there who love going to London...
My dear friend Christina is always making me jealous with all the cool and luxurious places she visits in London.. So I made her take me!
We visited the oh so fabulous Selfridges, not that I can afford anything inside it, but I can afford a cup of tea!
It is mega Christmasy this time of the year, with a whole floor dedicated to Christmas gifting. I was super close to buying a personalised Christmas stocking, but at £30 a pop, with myself, my boyfriend and our cat to buy for I decided to opt for the DIY option...
First of all; we went to the Forest on the Roof, which was lovely and festive, but super cold!
So it's a good job they've got some blankets up there!
Perfect for any time of the year, with its theme changing seasonally, you can snuggle up with warm blankets, mulled wine and some delicious cheese fondue (pictured above) what more could a girl want?
5 out of 5 star rating, I would make sure you wear a warm coat if you visit in the Winter though!
Next stop Aubaine
A much needed warm up inside with a hot bev after sitting on a rooftop in the middle of Winter...
It was hot chocolate heaven, with fancy French desserts to go with it.
Another great stop especially if you've had a long day shopping!
Aubaine and the rooftop are perfect for a treat yourself or a treat your mum day out, not too pricey, great food and great service. I would book a table if you can to avoid disappointment as both places were super busy!
Selfridges is great for you girls who spend your day shopping, starting from Tottenham Court Road and ending at Marble Arch, it's just before Primark, which you definitely need some caffeine before you take that challenge on..
You can see in one of my previous blogs how Selfridges is also great to visit before a night out, with free makeovers with certain beauty brands! Check it out here
Hope you girls liked this post, watch this space for another severely hungover, Hangouts & Hangovers Christmas special coming next week!
Merry Christmas!

DIY Ring Light - Ring Light for under £10!

Hey Gurls,
I'm back again... another hectic week at work is over and I'm back living for the weekend
Woo!!
I saw a tutorial on this the other day and thought I would share it with you guys!
Every girl knows that lighting is key when trying to nail that selfie
And if you've done your research you know that most ring lights are well over £100
Sucks right?
So.. Here's my solution, hope you girls love it as much as I do!
Watch the below video for a guide of how to create your own ring light at home for under £10 using hightstreet store products only.
A few hints and tips first though...
1. You can go brighter with the light - you will need a white LED light not gold/yellow, I just went for the golden look, because, you know, that's how I roll
2. Be careful please! The cabel ties can be really sharp when cut, and the lights do get hot themselves - this might not be the case if I had invested in some more expensive ones, but a girl gotta buy clothes as well!
3. You can add tinfoil to the back of the lights to add some more reflection, but that is totally up to you
Sorry if the video qualitiy isn't amazing, but this is a trial run for hopefully some more videos to come in future!
Enjoy!
Oh and you can get everything I made today from The Range all under a tenner!
